Our most unique episode to date! Jungian analyst Fiann Paul (first-time guest) a trained architect, has lived on five continents, and is the only person to have rowed every ocean, breaking more records than any other explorer in the world. Along with a Diploma in Analytical Psychology from the C.G. Jung Institute Zürich, he holds three other academic degrees and over 40 Guinness World Records. Jungian analyst Nancy Swift Furlotti, Ph.D. (Ep. 94) returns to the podcast to discuss her essay, “The Path to the Transcendent Function: Dreams, Visions, and Psychedelics,” published in the book, Psychedelics and Individuation: Essays by Jungian Analysts (Chiron Publications, 2023). We will look at the use of psychedelics from a Jungian perspective and cover the neuroscience involved as well as the dangers.

August 6: Paul Brutsche, Ph.D.

Jungian analyst Paul Brutsche, Ph.D. (first-time guest), will join us to discuss the 150th birthday of C.G. Jung. Born in Basel, Switzerland, Dr. Brutsche holds a doctorate in philosophy from the University of Zürich and has served as president of the C.G. Jung Institute Küsnacht. Over the decades, he has portrayed Jung in many theatrical productions, including The Red Book, The Analyst and the Rabbi, and most recently, Eranos: A Play.

September 4: Christophe Le Mouël, Ph.D.

Christophe Le Mouël (first-time guest) is a quantum physicist and Jungian analyst-in-training at the Research & Training Center for Depth Psychology According to C.G. Jung & Marie-Louise von Franz in Zürich, Switzerland. He has been serving as Executive Director of the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles since 2007 and is co-editor of an upcoming book on numbers and synchronicity.
