Oxford-educated scholar Professor Paul Bishop, Ph.D., returns to discuss the 3rd volume in his series, Jung and the Epic of Transformation. This time we delve into Nietzsche’s “Thus Spoke Zarathustra” and the Challenge of Transformation, scheduled to be released by Chiron Publications on May 25th. Our previous discussions about this series include Episode 135 on Volume 1 (Wolfram von Eschenbach’s “Parzival” and the Grail as Transformation) and Episode 152 on Volume 2 (Goethe’s “Faust” as a Text of Transformation).

June 2026: Susan E. Schwartz

Jungian analyst Susan E. Schwartz, Ph.D., returns to the podcast to discuss her new book, Absent Fathers, Yearning Sons: A Jungian Analysis of the Father-Son Dynamic, scheduled to be released by Routledge on May 13th. This title evolved from her 2020 release, The Absent Father Effect on Daughters: Father Desire, Father Wounds, discussed in Episode 76.

Summer 2026: Renos Papadopoulos and Stephen Garratt

Jungian analysts Renos K. Papadopoulos, Ph.D. and Stephen Garratt are co-editors of the forthcoming title, The Second Handbook of Jungian Psychology: Theory, Practice and Applications, scheduled to be released by Routledge on May 15th. Dr. Papadopoulos is a professor of analytical psychology at the University of Essex, and Mr. Garratt is Editor-in-Chief of the phenomenal resource, Jungian Directory.
