After earning her MBA, Christina spent six years in Switzerland training as a Jungian psychoanalyst at the C.G. Jung Institute in Küsnacht. She graduated in 2002 with a Diploma in Analytical Psychology (the degree of a Jungian analyst) and returned to Toronto where she established a private practice.
While in Zürich, Christina also studied astrology, attending seminars by world-renowned astrologer and author of Jung’s Studies in Astrology and The Astrological World of Jung’s ‘Liber Novus,’ Dr. Liz Greene. Christina later furthered her education at the Faculty of Astrological Studies in London, England.
She is now a senior analyst with the Association of Graduate Analytical Psychologists, a senior training analyst with the Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts, and a clinical member of the Ontario Society of Psychotherapists. She has lectured at Jungian training institutes in Johannesburg, Montreal, and New York, and has spoken at various astrological conferences and local Jungian societies across North America.
Christina was our guest in Episode 7 when we sat down together at the 2015 Fall Conference of the Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts here in Chicago to discuss her first book, The Heart of the Matter: Individuation as an Ethical Process (Chiron Publications, 2004/2014).
